Commonwealth Games
The Cycling Road Race event for the Commonwealth Games 2022 will take place on SUNDAY August 7thand involves closing off many of the streets in central Warwick, including the High Street. The cyclists will ride right past the Chapel many times during the day as the men complete 10 laps and the women 7 laps of the race route (covering 160km and 112km respectively). Inevitably this will mean that the Chapel is unreachable that day for the congregation and we have decided to CANCEL the service.
Rev Sue Woolley, District Minister and current President of the General Assembly will have a recorded service available online, and the link will be emailed to all members of the Chapel in advance.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope to see people return the following week when the service will be led by Angela Maher from Birmingham.
