On Saturday April 22nd Charles Matthews will be giving another lunch time Piano Recital in the Chapel, starting at 1.00.
Last December Charles played a wide range of piano music composed in the years 1722, 1822, 1922 and 2022, covering almost the entire life of keyboard instruments from the invention of the piano to the present day.
The much recommended programme for this entertaining new recital is entitled Music for a Royal Occasion and includes pieces by Beethoven and Haydn alongside compositions by Saint-Saëns, Frank Bridge and MacDowell.
Entry is open to everyone. Tickets will be on sale at the door of the Chapel for £8, but with free entry for under 18s.
