On Saturday 19th August at 1.00, Charles Matthews is coming back to give the third of his series of hour-long lunchtime concerts of largely British piano music. Previously Charles has given us a wonderful panorama of the range of keyboard music from five different centuries. He followed this in his second concert with a demonstration of various pieces composed to celebrate Coronations, some very familiar and others less well known. He has called this third recital Borderlands – Piano music from near the Welsh/English border. The concerts are open to all and you are warmly invited to attend whether you have just completed a tiring morning shopping in Warwick or simply would like to enjoy hearing our piano in all its moods in the lovely acoustic of the Chapel.
