STUART COOK
It was with great regret that we heard that Stuart was taken in to the Walsgrave last month. Sadly he was found to be suffering from Leukaemia and he was eventually transferred to the Coventry Myton Hospice where he died on Saturday 10th May.
Stuart had been a stalwart of the Chapel for very many years; in particular he took responsibility for the fabric of the buildings using his extensive understanding of engineering and his DIY skills. He had been a committed Unitarian who always retained a real interest in our congregation, especially in welcoming newcomers.
He will be sorely missed for his cheery approach and his dedication to Unitarianism in the latter part of his life.
The funeral will take place in his local Church St John The Baptist in Baginton, where he and Val were well known as established members of the community, on Wednesday 25th June at 11.30 followed by a burial in the graveyard.
We intend that there will be a service in the Warwick High Street Chapel in memory of Stuart later this summer
